Framing & Mounting Recommendations & Advice:
I personally recommend that you dry mount the large full frame prints onto di bond or aluminium with a satin laminate on the surface for UV protection, with a split baton or subframe on the reverse for hanging purposes.
Mounting quotes with additional postage costs can be provided on request.
For all other works I recommend that you frame your image behind acrylic or glass and allow for a space between the print and the glass to prevent the trapping of moisture against the image surface. This can be done easily with a card mount or spacer.
It is also recommended that you use acid free card, board and tape to retain the archival quality of your piece.
All images are to be handled with gloves or tissue provided to prevent any finger print damage.
If you are on a budget, you can always hang the work gently from clips or pin it to the wall!
Print Information
Digital prints:
Each digital print sold is printed to order.
Each digital print is inkjet printed on Hp Premium photo gloss paper 260gm unless stated otherwise.
All digital prints are produced as high quality, archival digital photo prints.
Original Ilfochromes:
All original ilfochrome prints are positive photographic hand prints, created without a traditional film or digital camera, working with carefully selected or dissected objects, exposing them to colour and light, resulting in a 'one off' ilfochrome print.
Ilfochrome was originally called Cibachrome and is a traditional chemical based photographic process of printing directly from positive transparencies.
* In my case I discard the transparency and work in my magical way.
All digital and original prints sold are signed, titled, dated and editioned, if appropriate, by the artist, Jo Holland.
